About These Terms

These Terms of Service apply every time you buy from The Ecom Mind, whether that is a Store Build package, Meta Ads Setup, Weekly Winning Products, or Mentorship. By paying for any of our services, you agree to these terms.

Our Services

The Ecom Mind is a business in the e-commerce education and services industry. We help South Africans start and grow online stores through done-for-you Shopify store builds, Meta ad account setup, a weekly winning products list sent on WhatsApp, and mentorship courses and coaching for people learning to sell online. What is included in each service is described on the relevant page of this website.

How We Deliver Our Services

Our services are digital, so nothing is shipped to you. Store Build and Meta Ads Setup: once you have sent your proof of payment on WhatsApp, we begin work and deliver your finished store or completed ad account setup within 48 hours. Weekly Winning Products: your first product list is sent on WhatsApp the same week you subscribe, then every week after that for as long as you remain subscribed. Mentorship: you get access to your course login as soon as you have sent your proof of payment on WhatsApp.

Payments & Accepted Payment Methods

All prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR) and include everything shown at checkout. You can pay by Visa, Mastercard, Instant EFT, or any other method offered at checkout.

  • Weekly Winning Products is billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time.
  • Mentorship Course Only is billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time.
  • All other services are once-off payments.

Card Acquiring & Security

Card transactions on this website are acquired for The Ecom Mind via Payfast, an approved payment gateway for all South African acquiring banks. Payfast uses strict encryption (SSL) to protect your card details, and no card details are stored on our website. You can view Payfast's security certificate and security policy at payfast.io.

Your personal details are stored by The Ecom Mind separately from your card details, which you enter directly on Payfast's secure payment page.

Merchant Outlet Country & Currency

The merchant outlet country for this website is South Africa. All transactions are processed in South African Rand (ZAR).

Responsibility

The Ecom Mind takes responsibility for all aspects of the transactions on this website, including the sale of our services, customer support, dispute resolution, and delivery of what you have purchased.

No Guarantee of Income

We teach a system and provide tools, products, and support. We do not control your ad spend, your pricing, your effort, or general market conditions, so we cannot promise you will make money. The one exception is the R100k Guarantee on the Full Mentorship plan, which is described in full on our Mentorship page.

Your Responsibilities

  • Pay your own Shopify subscription fee
  • Connect your own payment gateway
  • Pay for and manage your own ad spend
  • Respond to your own customers
  • Follow the steps we teach in good faith

What We Don't Do

  • We do not guarantee sales or income
  • We do not run your store, ads, or customer service for you, outside what is explicitly included in a package
  • We are not responsible for decisions made by Shopify, Meta, suppliers, or payment providers

Intellectual Property

All course content, videos, templates, and materials we provide remain the property of The Ecom Mind. You may use them to build your own business, but you may not resell, redistribute, or share them with anyone who has not purchased them.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, The Ecom Mind is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our services, including lost profits or lost sales.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.

Governing Law & Domicile

This website and these terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. The Ecom Mind chooses [Business address — add here] as its address for all legal notices and processes related to this agreement.
